Growth Groups

Enon offers a variety of Growth Groups each fall and Spring semester as a way to deepen our faith and grow together in community.  Begin praying today about which group you will join!

In the second chapter of Acts we get a picture of how the early church stayed connected with one another as they were enjoying rapid growth.  Acts 2: 46-47 says, “They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity – and each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.”

A Unique Way To Reinforce Growth

The development of Growth Groups puts the power of fellowship and discipleship together in order to strengthen our growth into mature Christians.

Fall Growth Groups 2019!

Participating in a Growth Group is very important for the life and health of Enon Church.  We do not grow in isolation.  Growth Groups help us to build relationships with each other as we strive to deepen our relationships with Jesus.

Don’t be a statistic.  Don’t be average.  Let’s get you that marriage that you always wanted.  Starting right now-from this day forward.

Let’s embark on a character study of one of the greatest men of the bible, Moses.  We will learn how Moses delivered Israel from bondage, is credited with writing the first five books of the Bible, and is the person to whom God chose to reveal His personal name.

We will talk about him being Israel’s first prophet, unifying the nation he loved, and giving the world the Law.  As we study Moses, the man and his mission, we’ll explore his impact on history and we’ll find that Moses had a relationship with God unparalleled.  Moses, in a sense becomes our mentor in our own relationship with God.

3. All In

Teacher: Pastor David Depoister

Where: Enon Parsonage                       Cost: $12/person

When: Sunday evenings                       Starting February 10 at 6pm                   (6 week group)

The gospel costs nothing, but it demands everything. Batterson writes, “When did we start believing that God wants to send us to safe places to do easy things?  That faithfulness is holding the fort?  That playing it safe is safe?  That there is any greater privilege than sacrifice?  That radical is anything but normal?  Jesus didn’t die to keep us safe.  He died to make us dangerous.”

Many people believe they are following Jesus when, in reality, they have invited Jesus to follow them.  Mark Batterson challenges you to go all in and all out by fully surrendering your life to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
