Pastor Post – April 2018

James 1:17Every good the perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

I’m sure by now that everyone has noticed how faithful God continues to be in providing the means for our vision to be fulfilled.  I am simply amazed at how well we have come together as a family and prepared for the good works God has planned for us.

Enon Mission Teams

We are fast approaching mission trip time, and many are excited in going to Mexico where the ministry of Enon will be influential beyond our walls, community, and even our own country.  Thank you all so much for the support that we have seen as the team continues to raise funds and prepare to go and be the hands and feet of Christ in a completely different culture.  God has certainly been at work in forming this Enon Mission Team.

Teen Ministry

We continue to see God build up our teens in the faith.  These teens that are committed to attending and participating in Rooted Teens Ministry are growing deep and strong roots in their faith.  Many of the volunteers have shared what a blessing it is to see our future generation of Christian leaders gather on Wednesdays to dive into God’s word, fellowship, and worship together.  God has certainly been at work in forming this Rooted Teen Ministry.

Double Attendance

Has God not been faithful in bringing people to Enon?  Praise God he has!  Everyone who has stepped up to help with the greeting, hospitality, and follow-up teams are being intentional about making our guests know how much we love them and are excited that they have come to worship at Enon.  We see God at work as we constantly see Him reaching out and bringing people here.  We recognize the truth that God longs for all of us to be a part of His body.  God has certainly been at work in forming these teams and bringing in guests for us to love.

How can we not get excited when we see God fulfilling, before our very eyes, the vision He gave us? Let’s continue to pray for the vision.  Let’s continue to praise our Father for guiding us and giving us such a privileged task to fulfill in building His kingdom.
